That
Divine Power… GOD
Do you remember the
last time when you prayed to god? Ah! May be 2-3 days back, or just a few
moments back
We all once in our life
span face such a time when there is no one for us, when no one believes us,
when we lose all our hopes. At that low point of time, there is something- something
divine, universal that takes us to the right path, that makes us believe and
that helps us to fight back.
According to their
religion, people have given various names to that universal power
“Bhagwaan, Allah, Rab and Jesus”.
But the unsaid truth
says that God can’t be defined although his presence can be felt everywhere.
We are living, we are
breathing, we can see, we can feel, we can talk, all our senses are working
properly – means we are having soul, we are having life and all this is because
of GOD. He is the Generator, the Operator & the Destroyer.
So many people say that
we can’t feel god. WRONG! We can feel him, he is inside us, in our heart, in
our surroundings and in our environment.
In
GITA, Lord Krishna said, “Feelings of
heat and cold, pleasure and pain, are caused by the contact of the senses with
their objects. They come and they go, never lasting long. You must accept them.”
We can say that, there
are 2 types of people –One who believe in that divine power & One who don’t
believe. So, in which type do you lie?
How
to reach to that divine power?
Communication:
Sometimes we can't sense God's presence because there's something blocking the
communication between the two of us. He hasn't left, but our sensitivity to His
presence might be affected by unconfessed sin in our life.
Talking
with him: When we audibly speak his name, one will sense its
power and presence. That sharp sword will either make us aware of its weight or
prick our heart through conviction, inspiration, or determination.
Sing
for God: God inhabits the praises of His people. Ever
wondered why we sometimes feel closer to God when we are in a church service,
arti in a temple, namaz in a masjid or singing other praise words? Could
be because that's where worship tends to take place.
Sometimes we can't
sense God's presence because there's too much of everything else going on. Too
much noise. Too much traffic. Too much confusion. Too many thoughts running
rampant in our minds. Too much anxiety. Center your mind on Him and start to
breathe deeply. Try it. Exhale the distracting thoughts. Inhale a desire
to sense His presence and see you will be closer to him.
Although the above matter
describes about the uniqueness of that ultimate power but until unless one
feels it in himself he cannot understand its true meaning.
The best way one can
feel his presence is to think selflessly, serve the humanity and respect each
and every individual. These small steps can lead to the betterment of one’s
self thereby creating a connection with that divine power which will one day
make us feel his presence.
“I am the beginning, middle, and end of creation.”
- Lord Krishna.
